What:

Access working version of Icarus CAD on workstation PC in project room

Use interference tool in “evaluate” menu to identify conflicting features

Edit conflicting features to eliminate the interference, note:
Internal radii (fillets) may not be smaller than the radius of the smallest tool we will use in machining. When milling the rails we do not want to use an end mill smaller than 1/4” dia. This means that internal fillets on our parts cannot be smaller than 1/8” or ~3.5mm. The edit described above will likely require reducing the size of some fillets but they may not be smaller than 3.5mm.

I will make myself available to help with this task, let me know when you are free to come to the project room.

Why:

Conflicting surfaces will prevent assembly of Icarus from being possible. Additionally very few people (Tyler, Pundeep, Priya, and Myself) have experience with the latest CAD. I want members to be comfortable with the CAD and prove their abilities so that CAD tasks can be assigned with less oversight.
