Who: The ADCS team in collaboration with the mechanical, payload and systems teams. This may also include the mission design and operations team.

What: Work with the payload, systems, mission design and operations teams to define the requirements for the ADCS, including: pointing measurement and control accuracy, spin rate recovery and knowledge, slew rate control and measurement, and position knowledge. Work with the mechanical team to define the space allocation within the satellite for the ADCS along with sensor placement on the outside surfaces.

Why: Clear requirements are key to performing thorough investigations into possible ADCS options, including the high-level option investigation and the in-depth trade study.
