CUBICS

With the likelihood increasing of having 2 light paths instead of 3, filtering will be fundamental to ensuring that Iris can image in all of the necessary bands. Confirm these "necessary bands" with the CUBICS proposal, STM, and Iris Internal Requirements document (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QJTZpUCyph8ICNG6fEeEjctEX02c4IdNdAtso0ZstMQ/edit#gid=182022398). The objective of this task is to therefore conduct a general trade study on bandpass filters that will allow us to filter light in the bands that we need. Consider the transmission response of these filters, including central wavelength (CWL) and Full Width at Half Maximum (FWHM), in addition to size and cost.

Additionally, since VNIR will be condensed into one light path, look into butcher block filtering and appropriate bandpass filters that can be used to separate R, G, B, and NIR.

Deliverable: A document with a tabulated trade study on different filters (for different bands) that can be viable to use in the light paths of Iris. Consider 2 light paths: one for VNIR (at least a VIS and NIR band, although VIS may need to be split into RGB depending on the image sensor), and one for SWIR (2 bands).
