What: Quantifiably establish design parameters for a traditional Hyperion hinge. Refer to the NRCSD-E (https://nanoracks.com/wp-content/uploads/Nanoracks-External-Cygnus-Deployer-E-NRCSD-IDD.pdf) page 13 for the volume envelope available for the satellite. Refer to Ex-Alta 2 CAD as the assumed structure the hinges will interface with (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zw0Y4LhD7IkPOgsIkOr8FfsBMZjpWSua). Generate a preliminary hinge deign that satisfies the design parameters.

Why: It is crucial that a traditional hinge design is prepared for integration of the satellite as it is currently assumed that this will be the design that flies.
