As a potential secondary technique to interface with the selected camera modules, more research is necessary to confirm that this is a valid methodology. Specifically, key aspects of the datasheet should be understood, and a breakout board should be designed and also commercially purchased. Then, ideally, a simple USB to SPI test should be done to confirm that the conversion is correct; a more detailed test using an actual USB camera should follow.
