Description

Read through and understand the SWIR sensor datasheet - https://www.hamamatsu.com/us/en/product/optical-sensors/image-sensor/ingaas-image-sensor/ingaas-linear-image-sensor/G11478-512WB.html

The purpose of this task is to research the SWIR sensor that will be used for the Iris multispectral imaging payload in Ex-Alta 2.The research should include the following aspects:

- The specifications and performance of the SWIR sensor, such as pixel pitch, resolution, sensitivity, data rate, power consumption, etc.
- The advantages and challenges of using SWIR imaging for wildfire monitoring, such as atmospheric effects, cloud cover, background noise, etc.
- The compatibility with the Electra PCB and the Iris optical system.
- The potential data processing and analysis methods for the SWIR images, such as image enhancement, calibration, segmentation, classification, etc.

The research should be documented in a report that summarizes the findings and provides recommendations for the SWIR sensor selection and integration. The report should also include references to relevant sources and literature. The report should be uploaded to Redmine as an attachment to this task.
