04/29/2023 Miguel Deanon Development User Story #376: Observer? Reply from STARS: Hi Miguel, Congratulations on your group's achievement! First, to observe the ISS with our telescopes is very hard as it is of course constantly moving, so it is hard to track. So no, we can not observe the ISS with our telescopes. Besides I don't see a visible pass of the ISS over Edmonton on April 24. You can check that in lots of different apps. https://www.heavens-above.com/PassSummary.aspx?satid=25544 That being said we would be happy to have your group over to have a tour of the observatory and to observe the Sun with our telescopes. We could do a private tour, but it will have to be during the day as this time of the year it gets dark too late to see the night sky. Alternatively we offer public observing hours on Thursdays noon-1pm, any member of your group is welcome to come. It has the advantage that you can choose to come on clear days when it is not cloudy. Let me know if you have any questions. 0:03 Actions
